I was very fortunate to spend the end of 2019//beginning of 2020 in Nepal with my good friend and producer Paul Burger & Farah Nosh to work on a personal project of ours. It was one of the most pure & joyful experiences I’ve ever had. Not just shooting it but being out there in a completely different culture than our own around people who at first glance seem like they don’t have much but certainly carry a whole lot more with them. About 6 months after that trip, I decided to dive into that footage to give myself a change of scenery, even if it was only remotely. I cut it all up and the memories & joy I remembered from that trip came right back to me, especially when I paired it with David Molinas beautiful music. There’s been a lot of doom & gloom floating around for awhile now, especially here in the US so hopefully this can bring you all some joy & inspiration.
